Most people think that pastors are impervious to pain because they constantly preach the hope that is Jesus Christ.  However, having hope does not mean that we do not have pain.

Think about Jesus.

Here was God Himself.  The One who brings peace that surpasses all understanding.  Yet, He was sweating blood because His human character was faced with the heaviness of this fallen world.

If the High Priest who intercedes on our behalf would have benefitted from having His own disciples–who were appointed to become apostles of the highest order–then would not all the royal priesthood of believers benefit from having other leaders support them?

The answer is a resounding yes.

Also, it is also not just about pastors.

It’s also about Christian leaders who are serving the brothers and sisters in other ministries too.
